At Alltrade, we value the importance of community and strive to stay engaged and support our Louisville community in whatever way we can. If you have passed by Alltrade headquarters on Barret Avenue, you have probably seen the vibrant murals celebrating community and diversity hanging on the side of our building.
In May of 2016 and May of 2017, we hosted mural reveal parties in our parking lot with music, raffles, food, and delicious icy treats from local favorite, SnoWhat SnoBalls!
Those murals are the product of one of our proudest community partnerships with Louisville Visual Arts, Fund for the Arts, and participating school partners, Bloom Elementary and Breckinridge-Franklin Elementary School. We are proud to display these messages of diversity and to provide a space to showcase and encourage young artists to express themselves.
Alltrade is also a proud sponsor of Kentucky’s Largest Disco Ball, Y’all! With the goal of eventually being the world’s largest disco ball, Kentucky’s Largest Disco Ball has made appearances all around town, including an unveiling at Fourth Street Live in downtown Louisville, the Blink festival in Cincinnatti, New Year’s eve countdowns, and many more! It’s good to dream big, right? Right! Follow the #discoballyall
Want to rent the disco ball for your next event? Visit the website or send pricing inquiries to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Alltrade is also one of the major sponsors for the largest Derby block party in town, Sherby. Sherby, always held the Friday before the Kentucky Derby, closes down part of Sherwood Avenue in the Highlands and provides food trucks, drinks, local music, and (of course) a display of the beloved disco ball. Better yet, all proceeds from alcohol sales go straight to Mama to Mama, a local non-profit that supports mothers during pregnancy, birth, and more.
